Install Access 97 On Windows 7 64
Nov 08, 2017 Hi all Just wondering, Can I install Office Word 97 on a 64 bit Win 7? I am considering an upgrade to a new laptop, It will be Win 7 premium 64 bit I own. Access 97 windows 8. So in regards to windows 7 64 bit: I was able to install and run access 97 without problems. So in regards to windows 8 64 bit. The Price Is Right Big John Pc Games. I am installing Windows 7 on a new computer, replacing an old broken computer. I want to install my Office Small Business 2007 upgrade but first have to install. The reason I bought win 8 was to use access 97 since it wasn't work in windows 7 unless you install the XP mode. The above information is not correct. You can MOST CERTAINLY INSTALL office 97 on windows 7 64 bit os. You 'might' receive a message during install about CTL3D.DLL must be installed, and you can ignore this issue unless you having to use the workgroup administrator (User Level Security for Access 97). And if in fact you do require workgroup administrator in Access 97, then you simply have to copy the MS access workgroup administrator file (wrkgadm.exe) and the ctl3d32.dll file from the c:windowssysWoW64 directory to the c:windowssystem32 directory. If it asks if you want to overwrite the ctl3d32.dll file say NO. It's already there.
