The theme holds true throughout most of the arcade until one leaves through the back exit which takes visitors through a few rooms that are straight up sci-fi-fantasy. I found the RPG SHOP today (after lots of looking) but it's not actually right next to the SEGA building. There's a small street between the two. The RPG shop is on the corner of the next intersection (on the busy street) and it's on the 7th floor.

Also if you go straight up (towards the top of the map) from the RPG shop, and go to the next set of lights, on that corner on the 6th floor is a games shop called Roll and Roll (or something like that). It had a really good selection of board games (both Battlelore and Memoir 44 which i couldn't find anywhere else. Hopefully this helps anybody who is looking for games in Akihabara.
